Prof Michael DavidsonProf. Michael Davidson trained  at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City between 1981 and 1985 where he remained on staff until 1995 as Professor of Psychiatry. Subsequently he was Department Chairman at the Tel Aviv University and Chief Editor of the European Neuropsychopharmacology journal.  Prof. Davidson has published over 350 articles mostly in peer reviewed prestigious journals in the area of Psychiatry and of Alzheimer’s disease including on development of  novel treatments for this condition and on determining the contribution of cardiovascular risk factors and pathology to the manifestation of Alzheimer’s disease.  He is currently the President of the Alzheimer Center in Israel and actively involved in drug development.
